| The V & A Waterfront, only 10 minutes driving distance from Camps Bay,
is an entertainment complex which in size and design rivals the best in
the world. Visit the Aquarium and take a ferry trip across the bay to
Robben Island, where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for 18 years. In the
city centre you can relax in the 350 year old Company Gardens or visit

Dutch with slate quarried off Robben Island, is another fascinating
place to visit. There are hundreds of Wine Estates in the beautiful mountain valleys of Paarl, Stellenbosch and Franschoek. Here you can sample and buy some of South Africa's best wines.
